With Code for Sustainable Homes stepping up a gear in 2010, now is the perfect time to get your head around this technology which is increasingly specified in new-build projects.

Course Objective
To enable the candidates to confidently propose, survey, design and install domestic or small commercial heat pump installations, enlisting manufacturers support where required. The scope of the course covers up to 24kW for ground source and 16kW for air source.

Entry Requirements
This course is ideally suited for experienced heating or plumbing professionals although allied trades are welcome to attend the 3 day generic course providing they have plumbing skills and experience at least to a Level 2 standard. Candidates should hold G3 certificate in Unvented Hot Water Systems OR be taking the 1-day course the day prior to this course. Basic electrical experience is desirable.
